We finally got central air conditioning installed last week, and it's been a game changer. The old window units were loud and didn't cool evenly. The installers had to run new ductwork through the attic and patch a few ceiling holes, which took two days. Now the whole house stays comfortable, and the humidity is gone. I'm just glad we did it before the heatwave hit.
