We've been testing drone-based seeding on a few fallow plots, and it's honestly a game-changer for tough terrain. Instead of hiking for hours with a hand spreader, the drone drops seed pods in precise patterns, even on slopes we'd normally skip. Germination seems spotty at first, but the mix of soil contact and moisture retention is doing better than expected. It's not perfect—windy days throw off the lines—but for covering large, rough areas quickly, it beats anything we've tried.
